The new Ultegra is a mid-priced reel, but incorporates technology used in flagship models. The combination of HAGANE Gear, MicroModule II, X-Ship and Silent Drive provides extremely high performance, even under heavy loads. Remarkable smoothness of rotation and quiet operation improve the fishing experience. X-Protect technology prevents water from entering the moving parts of the linear and roller bearings, extending life and ensuring safe operation. To improve the casting distance, AR-C technology with a higher spool is used, allowing the line to flow freely during casting. Housing made of CI4 + reduces the total weight which leads to less fatigue during longer fishing.
