Daiwa HRF® Curly – Soft Lure for Rockfish and Greenling

Daiwa HRF® Curly is a specially designed curly tail soft lure developed for targeting rockfish, greenling and other bottom-dwelling saltwater predators. Created for increasingly cautious fish, the HRF Curly combines a natural action, attractive profile and a specialized body design optimized for use with offset hooks.

The slim, ribbed body is designed to reduce air resistance during casting while increasing water contact. This combination helps provide a stable presentation and natural movement at different retrieve speeds.

Specially Designed Curly Tail

One of the key features of the HRF Curly is its stepped tail design. The tail is thicker on the outside and gradually becomes thinner toward the inside. This structure allows the tail to remain upright even when the lure is stationary.

As soon as the retrieve begins, the stepped profile catches the water flow and produces a flexible, highly responsive action. The combination of quick response and sufficient tail power creates strong visual and vibration signals that attract predatory fish.

When the lure is left on the bottom, the tail remains upright, creating a natural presentation similar to the defensive posture of a small crustacean. This makes the HRF Curly particularly effective for bottom fishing, slow retrieves and fishing over rocky or hard-bottom areas.

The HRF Curly is infused with Amino X and a unique combination of different flavors and oils. This formula complements the lure's visual and mechanical attraction, making it particularly useful when targeting cautious or pressured fish.

Optimized for Offset Hooks

The head section features a specially designed recessed area for positioning an offset hook. This helps guide the hook into the body in a straight and precise manner for a clean and secure rigging.
