Exsence Genos is one of the best rod series for inshore angling currently manufactured by Shimano. Typical for Exsence Genos is the usage of Spiral X Core- a technology that reduces blank weight and the width, while making it stronger than previous generations Shimano rods. The first guide after the reel seat is also Shimano proprietary technology- X Guide Aero Titanium, which improves casting distance and reduces line entaglements and damage. Exsence Genos handle grip is a monocoque carbon which further improves lightness and sensitivity of the whole rod.
