Having and using the right probe to find big fish is a step ahead of all other anglers. The correct tool to cover deep sea targets is a 2 kW, low to medium frequency transducer. The Chirp-ready R111LM provides deep-sea low frequency performance down to 1829m (6000') plus the detailed returns produced by the narrower midband beams.
Chirp technology displays 5 to 10 times greater detail and resolution than conventional frequencies. The R111LM transmits over the low frequency band from 38 to 75 kHz and the mid frequency band from 80 to 130 kHz. This converter provides up to 87 kHz total bandwidth in a single installation.
The transducer is mounted in the included tank, which is cut to the angle of elevation of the boat and secured inside the hull. When the transducer is placed inside the tank, it is properly oriented for optimal performance.
