The AIRITY ST (Sensitive Tune) features a new type of BB oil bearing with low viscosity in the main rotating part, which provides significantly lighter rotation, even at the expense of the durability of the standard BB bearing with grease. This improvement in the ease of rotation has been achieved without compromising on performance. Also, due to the lack of a magnetic seal on the pinion, priority has been given to a slight weight reduction, which, although not mentioned in the specifications, provides an even better feel when operating the reel. The resistance to rotation is almost imperceptible, and the sensitivity transmitted to your hand is extremely high.

The key to achieving these parameters is the cutting-edge technologies and materials used. One of the technologies used in the production is a monocoque hull, which has an integrally molded structure. A reliable base that solves the structural problems of rotating pulleys, suppresses deformation and creates a strong lifting force. Using magnesium and aluminum for the monocoque body, it gains unwavering strength. Inside is stored a sturdy gear that produces smooth and quiet rotation. By applying a special surface treatment that increases the stiffness of the gear, durability is also improved.

To ensure water resistance and dust resistance, Daiwa's Mag Shield technology is used, installed in the pinion part and reel part of the line.

The drag is equipped with ATD TYPE-L, which reduces the load on the line and allows you to enjoy the fight with peace of mind, having a high reaction and a smooth start. For the spool, the best of Daiwa's Long Cast-ABS technology is adopted, which achieves about 5% increase in flight distance by improving the shape of the finishing cone.
