The drag system (advance) uses a new high-resistance resistor, allowing very precise tuning and quick operation. This in turn allows you to adjust the strength of the resistance much more aggressively than before.

The new Ultegra is a mid-priced reel, but incorporates technology used in flagship models. The combination of HAGANE Gear, MicroModule II, X-Ship and Silent Drive provides extremely high performance, even under heavy loads.
