The model is aimed at fishing with lighter jigs (50 - 60g), but the blank can bend enough to handle big and strong fish. Driver and balance adjustments allow for long casts. Although the Vento Prototype is designed to work with metal jigs, the rod allows the use of wobbler poppers and even surface needle baits.
